Bahai temple is one of the seven temples located all over the world and built of marble in the shape of lotus flower. The architect Furiburz Sabha has chosen the sacred lotus shape to denote common spirituality of all religions. The design of the temple has won many awards and admired from all over the world. It is also one of the most visited places in the world since it established in 1986.

Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, New Delhi

Features

Gurudwara Bangla Sahib is the most important Sikh Gurudwara of Delhi associated with the eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan. It was originally Haveli of Mirza Raja Jai Singh who was strong devotee of Guru Har Krishan. Guru Har Krishan stayed at this place during his visit to Delhi in 1964 and saved the people from small pox calamity.

Laxminarayan Temple ( Birla Mandir), Delhi

Features

Dedicated to Lord Laxminarayan (God Vishnu), three storied temple is constructed in Nagara style of Hindu temple architecture. The temple has beautiful carvings from the scenes from Hindu mythology. The temple was built by B. R. Birla and Jugal Kishore Birla and inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi in 1939. The complex also houses other small shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha, Lord Buddha and God Hanuman.

Sri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir, Delhi

Features

Located opposite to Red fort, Sri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir is the oldest Jain Mandir built during 17th century and renovated from time to time. The temple is dedicated to the 23rd Tirthankara, Lord Parashvanath. The uniqueness of the temple lies in the red stone structure with fine carvings and paintings.
