Red Fort Archaeological Museum, Delhi


Red Fort Archaeological Museum is housed in Mumtaz Mahal of Red Fort and controlled by Archaeological Survey of India. The museum displays the paintings, artifacts, sculptures, costumes and other objects dating back to Mughal period. The articles are displayed thematically in six galleries belonging to the Mughal period. One section displays the relics of the 1857 war like maps and weapons.
