Fatehpuri Masjid, Delhi

Features

Located opposite to Red fort, Fatehpuri Masjid was built in 1650 by Fatehpuri Begum, one of Emperor Shah Jahan's wives. Built in red sandstone, the mosque is a superb specimen of Mughal architecture. Flanked by towering minarets, the mosque has a traditional design with the prayer hall having seven arched openings.
