Kohima World War II Cemetery

“When you go home, tell them of us and say; for your tomorrow, we gave our today” These are the words inscribed on the Kohima War Cemetery which built in remembrance of British and Indian sacrificed their lives in World War II. Located on Garrison Hill, the cemetery is maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and has 1421 slabs with a bronze plaque.
