Nagaland State Museum, Kohima


Nagaland State Museum depicts the history and culture of the Nagaland region. The museum is located at Bayavu Hill and exhibits rare collection of artifacts of the sixteen tribes of the state. The rich collection of the museum includes tribes dresses, household items, musical instruments, weapons, inscriptions and tribe jewellery. It also has the art gallery which showcases the tribe paintings.

Nearest airport is at Dimapur with 74 km. Nearest railway station is Dimapur. Kohima is connected by road transport to Imphal and Guwahati.
