Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary and Mollem National Park, Goa


Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary is the largest of four wildlife protected areas of Goa and Mollem National Park is part of it. The sanctuary is known for rich flora and fauna particularly leopard, elephants, deers and sambars. The national park has variety of snake species, several birds and butterflies and jungle safaris. Devil's Canyon View Point is famous for viewing wildlife and bird watching. Please note that visitors must obtain an entry permit from the Range Forest Officer. The 12th century Tambdi Surla Temple, Dudhsagar waterfalls are other attractions of the sanctuary.

Nearest Airport is at Dabolim with 80 km. Nearest Railway Station is Colem with 5 km. Local buses and private vehicles are available to reach Colem from other cities.
