Munnar, Idukki


Munnar is one of most popular hill stations of India and situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Unending expanse tea plantations, picture square surrounding mountains, wild sanctuaries with rich flora and fauna and high class holiday facilities make Munnar a unique experience. Munnar also has the highest peak of South India - Anamudi with height of 2695 meters and is an ideal spot for campers who like to do some trekking. Nearest airport is at Cochin with 130 km. Nearest railway station is Angamali Railway Station with 106 km. KSRTC buses, private taxis are available from Ernakulum, Angamali. If you are coming from airport, private cabs and share taxis are available.
