Durbar Hall Museum

Features

Once the courthouse of Junagadh Nawab, the museum displays the articles belonging to Nawab and it includes weapons, arms, war items, gold and silver items, jewellery, paintings, palanquins, howdahs, carpets with diamonds. Another attraction of the museum is a carpet, woven by the prisoners of the Junagadh jail.

Upperkot Fort, Junagadh

Features

Uperkot Fort is said to have built by Chandragupta Maurya in 319 BC and extended by other Kings over centuries. This impressive fort is surrounded by the moat with giant gate and some of the walls of the fort are 20 meter high. Other archaeological sites in the fort include Jama Masjid, Nilamtope canon, Kapra Kodia Caves, Babupyana Caves, Adi-Kadi Vav and Naugham Kuva Vav.
