The Khajuraho Temple complex was built during 950 AD to 1050 AD by Chandela Kings. The structures of the temple represent expression of external love and phases of life in bold and erotic manner. The current temple complex has around 22 temples survived of the original 85 temples and divided into Western group, Eastern group and Southern group. The masterpieces of temple complex are Kandariya Mahadeva Temple, Jagdamba Temple and Lakshmana Temple in the Western complex and Jain Temple of Parsvanath in the Eastern complex.

Maharaja Chhatrasal Museum (Dhubela Museum), Khajuraho

Located in Mau Sahania Village on the Chhatarpur-Nowgaon highway, the museum is housed in palace built by Maharaja Chhatrasal and has eight galleries displaying inscriptions, plates, sculptures, paintings, arms and armours etc.
