Vishnupuri Dam and Kaleshwar temple

Vishnupuri Dam is built on the River Godavari near Asarjan village with 8 km from Nanded city. Named after Dr. Shankarrao Chavan Vishnupuri, it is one of the largest lift irrigation projects in Asia. Kaleshwar temple is located on the bank of river Godavari in the village Vishnupuri and dedicated to Lord Shiva. The ambience and greenery of surrounding Ratneshwari hills attracts many devotees as well as tourists. Lakhs of pilgrims visit the temple on occasion of Shiva Ratri in month of March. Kaleshwar is also popular for boating experience in large vessel.

Heera Moti Fish Aquarium (9.00 am to 8.30 pm)

Located near Sachkhand Gurudwara, it is ideal place to watch colourful fishes in Nanded.

Sahastrakund Waterfall

Sahastrakund Waterfall is on Painganga River near Jewali village with 50 km away from Umarkhed and 6 km from Sahasstrakund railway station. The ideal time to visit the waterfall is during monsoon (August to October). The waterfall is lesser known and ideal spot during monsoon. The breath taking views of the waterfall attract many visitors.

Takhat Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib Gurudwara is one of the five High seats of Authority of the Sikhs and the place where Shri Guru Gobind Singhji breathed his last. The Gurudwara was built by Maharaja Ranjit Singhji, the great Ruler of Punjab during 1830 to 1839. Inside the Gurudwara, which contains the mortal remains of the 10th Guru, it also exhibits a number of weapons of various kinds. Daily show is held at 7.30 pm and 8.30 pm on the life of Ten Gurus. Hottal Temple
