Gurudwara Manji Sahib Alamgir

Alamgir Sahib is one of the important pilgrimages of Punjab and Guru Gobind Singh, tenth guru of the Sikhs, stayed here for a short while. It is believed that after reaching Alamgir, Guru Gobind Singh shot an arrow into the ground and a spring appeared from that place (presently known as ‘Tirsar Tank’). He was gifted a horse by a resident of Alamgir to get rid of from the army of Aurangzeb.
