Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary, Mahasamund

Spread over 245 square km of lush green forest, Barnawapara Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the oldest and important wildlife of the state. Bhoramdeo Wild Life Sanctuary, Kabirdham

Named after famous Bhoramdeo temples built during 11th century, Bhoramdeo wild life sanctuary is one of the eleven wild life sanctuaries of Chhattisgarh state. Spread over 163 square km of open forest reserve, the sanctuary is natural habitant to many wildlife species like tiger, leopard, hyena ,fox, bear, cheetal, wild buffalo, nilgai etc.

Doodhadhari Monastery and Temple, Raipur

Doodhadhari Temple was built by King Jaitsingh during 17th century and dedicated to Lord Rama. The ancient temple has not only religious importance but also the architecture importance. The stunning murals and intricate carvings of the temple attracts many visitors. There is also a monastery that was named after Swami Balbhadra Das who survived only on 'Doodh' (milk) as his food.
