Maharashtra is one of most developed state of India and offers many varieties of choices in travel shopping. Metros like Mumbai, Pune and Nagpur are rapidly growing in infrastructure and resulting into huge shopping hub/mall. These shopping malls also are emerging as tourist attraction these days. Apart from the malls, the traditional and locally famous bazars also attract quite number of interested visitors. Further, regional places like Aurangabad, Kolhapur or Kokan are famous for their regional items.

Mumbai, the mall city has maximum and fantastic malls which are mainly crowded on weekends. The malls has wide range of shops ranging from electronic items, clothing, grocery and many more including eateries. If you are interested in specific items, then local shopping market like Crawford Market, Fashion Street, Zaveri Bazar, Chor Bazaar, Hutatama Chowk, Juhu Road, and Linking Road might be more useful. For handicrafts and handmade items, many state level emporiums are available in Mumbai.
