Bor Wildlife Sanctuary,  Wardha

Features

Bor Wildlife Sanctuary covers the Southern boundary of Nagpur district and Northern boundary of Wardha district of Maharashtra. It represents the floral and faunal wealth of Satpuda-Maikal Landscape. Wild animals of the sanctuary includes tigers, panthers, nilgai, sambars, barking deer, chinkaras, wild boars, bears, wild dogs and wild cats.

Timing

Closed for monsoon from 16th June to 30th September.

How to reach

Nearest Airport is at Nagpur. Nearest Railway Station is Wardha. MSRTC buses are available from Wardha to Hingni bus stand which is 10 km away. It is better to hire private vehicle from Wardha or Nagpur.
